Reservations policy

General conditions:

Yucatan Travel has made a good faith effort to accurately describe the accommodation, day tour and type of available cars but shall not be liable for any inaccuracies in such descriptions, changes in the condition of the accommodation, the surroundig properties, the condition thereof, or for any temporary defects or stoppages of electricity, gas, water, plumbing, lack of kitchen items, or any other services.

Shall any inconvenience arises while being guest of the hotel/property, it is fully understood that such hotel/property is fully liable to resolve given inconvenience upgrading the accommodation or with courtesy meals or drinks as a standard hospitality industry conduction of business.
It is fully understood a reservation process has taken place, a room has been hold and rental payments have been issued in advance to the hotel/property. Therefore no refunds will be issued through Yucatan travel booking services. A redeem letter for the client's insurance company will be issued if required for partial or full refunds.

Confirmed reservation may result in cancellation without any liability for Yucatan Travel neither for the hotel/property involved in case customer fails in sending balance with proper time. Balance reminders will be sent if necessary in order to avoid misunderstandings and trouble.

It is highly suggested to purchase a travel insurance which can protect you from many of the eventualities that may necessitate of your cancellation.

Liability:

Yucatan Travel is only liable for handling your reservation in professional manner and have all proper documents that shall guarantee the requested accommodation, type of car or tour regarding your reservation including payment receipts in written from the reserved accommodation, tour or rent a car deals.

Limitation of liability

Yucatan Travel, undertakes to act only as agent for the accommodation or tourism service provider such as a ground operator, tour guide or rent a car agency. Yucatan Travel maintain no control over the facilities, operation, equipment, agents or employees of the owners of the accommodations, ground operator, tour guide or rent a car agency neither of their representatives, executors, administrators, successors or assignees arising out of:
1) Personal injury, accident or death; 2) Property lost or damaged; 3) Loss of physical or mental enjoyment; 4) Delay, inconvenience or changed itinerary - resulting from any acts or omission of the owner of the accommodation, ground operator, tour guide or rent a car agency, his employees or agents, or any other party not under the direct employ and control of Yucatan Travel, or from any act of nature or God, war, strike, governmental act, or any other event or cause beyond its control.

Indemnity

Each customer shall and hereby does indemnify Yucatan Travel, its employees, agents, subagents and representatives and hold them harmless from and against any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) to persons or property, however caused, which occurs on or about the accommodation, tour service or rent a car service, or in connection with travel thereto or therefrom.
