Piedra Escondida is a small resort located in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico, directly on the beach, along the coastal road that leads to Boca Paila and Punta Allen, just 3.5 Km (2 miles) from the Mayan ruins of Tulum.

The hotel is made of two buildings, each one with four suites exquisitely furnished with private bathroom, hot and cold water, and a private balcony facing the beach and the caribbean sea.

Our full service Restaurant - Bar is located in a "Palapa" nearby and it operates "a la carte". It serves exquisite Italian and Mexican cousine.

Piedra Escondida is the ideal starting point for a visit to the Mayan ruins of Tulum (You can walk to them over the beaches), Coba (Just 45 minutes by car), Chichen Itza (2 hours), and many others less famous ones.

The resort is situated at the very entrance of the Sia'an Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, an extensive rain forest habitat with its lagoons, over 300 bird species and protected wild life. Guided tours can be arranged at our reception. A multitude of natural fresh water pools called "Cenotes" with their crystal-clear waters surround the area.
