The building that houses our hotel was initially built to be used as army barracks and dates back to the XVIII century. During the second decade of the XX century became one of the first hotels in Campeche City and has remained as such until our days bringing to our times the reminiscenses of the old times with its great architecture.

In 2004, its new owners started remodeling it completely, although they respected the original architecture, floors, ceilings, patio, hallways and colonial decoration, without neglecting modern amenities such as wireless internet, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, swimming pool and air conditioning, among others.
Our hotel is located in the historic center of Campeche City (declared World Heritage Site in 1999 by UNESCO), a few steps from the beautiful city boulevard and to the sea.
It is surrounded by historic buildings, colonial houses, churches, forts and walls, souvenir stores, museums, convention center, bars and restaurants.
The rooms are decorated with colonial style; they have original tile floors, high ceilings with wood beams, cedar furniture and completely new bathrooms.
