My real name is Juan Ojeda, I started working in hotel and tourism business 28 years ago, when I was 20 years old as a bell boy for the Holiday Inn Hotel in the city of Merida Yucatan, Mexico, which was, by then, the first 5 star hotel. I made almost 7 years working for Holiday Inn and after a 3 years commercial career as an accounter, decided to try something different. The opportunity showed up and I got a job as a manager of a 6 unit beachfront condominium in Akumal Q. Roo. My next experience was in Playa del Carmen as a front desk and reservations manager at a 50 room hotel (90% German guests, I could only learn 40% German... not as easy as English), and the last 4 and a half years until 1997 did the management of Hacienda de la Tortuga Hotel, again in Akumal, (Then I forgot 20% German).

My main goal through all this years was to have a business in the city of Merida as my wife and two kids live here. My wife and I believe that our two kids can have a better education in the city but due to the recurrent mexican crisis, had to do what many mexicans and left them while looking for the money and a better living.
